A 32-year-old man has been arrested at a Toronto airport and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Indian national Himanshi Khurana. Khurana, 30, was found dead inside a Toronto residence in December last year. Police had issued a warrant for Abdul Ghafoori after determining the death was a homicide. The Indian Consulate had offered assistance to her family.

Abdul Ghafoori was arrested at a Toronto airport on Friday after returning to Canada and has been charged with first-degree murder, CBC News reported.
