The havoc of speed was once again seen in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana state of the country. On Monday morning, a speeding SUV coming from the wrong side hit three motorcyclists in the Hydershakot area of the city. In this horrific road accident, a 47-year-old former soldier died tragically, while two others were seriously injured, who are undergoing treatment in a nearby hospital.

The accident reportedly occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Monday. According to Narsingi Police Station Inspector D. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, an uncontrolled SUV coming from the opposite direction struck three bikes in the Hydershakot area. The three injured riders were immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared 47-year-old Ravinder dead. Ravinder was a retired Subedar from the Indian Army, and his family is mourning the sudden accident.
The driver fled after abandoning the car, police are examining CCTV footage.
After causing the tragic road accident, the accused driver managed to escape, abandoning his SUV a short distance from the scene. Initial police investigations have revealed that two people were inside the car at the time of the accident. Police are now working to determine who was actually driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. CCTV footage from the scene and surrounding areas is being carefully examined to identify the accused and arrest them as soon as possible.
The SUV is registered in the name of Kranti Gaur, and several challans have already been filed against him.
Initial police investigations have revealed that the SUV involved in the accident is registered in the name of B. Kranti Goud. Surprisingly, the vehicle already had three outstanding traffic challans for speeding and improper parking. However, it is not yet clear whether the driver was drunk at the time of the accident. Narsingi police have registered a case under relevant sections of the IPC and are actively searching for the absconding suspects and pursuing further legal action.
