If you also want to travel abroad and visit religious sites, IRCTC has introduced another special religious tour. This international tour package from IRCTC allows Indian travelers to explore Sri Lanka for six days.
This new tour package from IRCTC is the “Sri Lanka Ramayana Yatra.” During this trip, you’ll be able to visit famous and popular destinations like Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Colombo, as well as many famous sites associated with the Ramayana. Let’s explore the cost of this trip and the amenities provided by IRCTC.
When will IRCTC’s Sri Lanka tour package start?
According to IRCTC, this new six-day religious and international tour will begin on September 24, 2026. This is the best time for Indians to travel abroad at a very convenient and affordable price. According to IRCTC, the starting price of this package is set at ₹59,950 per person for a three-person stay.
For a single person, the cost will be around ₹81,000. Only 15 seats are available on this trip. This includes flight tickets, hotel accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, your expenses may increase depending on the room price.
- For one person – Rs 81,100 per person
- For two persons – Rs 60,500 per person
- For three persons – Rs 59,950 per person
- Child (5-11 years) with extra bed – Rs 46,000
- Child (2-11 years) without bedding – Rs 41,700

Passengers will be taken on a tour of these places
- Day 1 – On the first day, travelers will go to Colombo and will get a chance to visit the Manvari-Muneeswaram temples.
- Day 2: Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, Thiru Koneswaram Temple and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Temple along with Sigiriya and Trincomalee.
- Day 3 – On the third day, travellers will travel from Dambulla to Kandy and attend cultural events in the evening.
- Day 4: Travelers will be taken from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya.
- Day 5 – Group travellers will be taken from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo.
