A big and shocking news to Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) is coming out. Dissatisfied with the functioning and decisions of the organization, 8 key executive members of CINTAA have suddenly resigned from their posts. All these members have raised serious questions on the working methods of the organization's President and famous actress Poonam Dhillon and Senior Vice President Padmini Kolhapure. After this big resignation, there has been a stir in the entertainment world and this prestigious organization of artists. These 8 veteran artists, including Mukesh Rishi and Puneet Issar, left their posts. During the recently held CINTAA elections, a total of 11 members were given the responsibility of various posts, but now with the simultaneous resignation of 8 of these members, the internal discord of the organization has come to the fore. The names of veterans who resigned include Mukesh Rishi, Hemant Pandey, Sahil Chaddha, Hetal Parmar, Punit Issar, Vindu Dara Singh, Deepak Parashar and Vikash Verma. All of them together have submitted a joint resignation letter, in which it has been alleged that the entire functioning of the association is now limited to select people and key officials. Dissatisfied members have demanded re-election to bring transparency in the institution. There are allegations of taking arbitrary decisions and misuse of position. The resigned members have directly accused President Poonam Dhillon that she is taking many big and important decisions without consulting anyone. Not only this, objection has also been raised against using personal email ID instead of institutional email to send official and important messages of the organization. Members say that taking decisions on a big platform like CINTAA without everyone's consent and collective discussion is against the rules and interests of the organization, which has caused huge resentment among the artists. Crisis deepens in an organization known for the interests of artists. CINTAA has always been a leading organization protecting the rights and interests of artists, actors and TV artists across the country. But the current controversy and mass resignations have raised big questions on its administrative structure. Experts believe that some major steps will have to be taken soon to resolve this internal dispute and maintain the credibility of the institution. In view of the situation, it is being speculated that fresh elections may be held on the posts of CINTAA in the coming days.
