I’m not part of any biopic, actor sets the record straight

Few media reports suggested that Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi will be part of the RD Burman biopic and that he will play Mehmood. Akshay Kumar is playing a cameo in this flick.
However, Emraan Hashmi took to X and stated that the reports are untrue and that no one has approached him for the said role. RD Burman is one of India’s celebrated music composers.
Emraan Hashmi’s much-awaited sequel, Awarapan 2, is hitting the big screens this Friday, clashing with Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 features Disha Patani as the female lead. The movie is carrying very good hype among audiences.
