KTM RC 160 Price Hike: Big news for speed lovers. KTM India, which is the heartbeat of the youth and talks to the wind, has increased the price of its popular entry level sports bike KTM RC 160.
According to reports, the company has increased the price of the bike by around Rs 15,000. After the price hike, the ex-showroom price of KTM RC 160 has now become Rs 2 lakh. Despite being expensive, this bike will continue to compete with Yamaha R15 V4 in the Indian market. Let us know the features.
Powerful Engine:
The KTM RC 160 is powered by a 164.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 18.73 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. According to the company, the bike can reach a top speed of 118 km/h.
The KTM RC 160 is built on a trellis frame. For better riding, it features 37mm inverted forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear .
Braking duties are handled by dual-channel ABS. This includes 320mm disc brakes at the front and 230mm disc brakes at the rear. The bike also features a 13.75-liter metal fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, full LED lighting, and an LCD instrument cluster.
Following the price
increase on the KTM RC 160, the company’s RC 200 has also become an interesting option for customers. The KTM RC 200 is priced at ₹2.32 lakh (ex-showroom). This means there’s only a ₹32,000 price difference between the RC 160 and RC 200.
