Chhattisgarh News: Big decision in the interest of youth, date of police recruitment main examination changed

Chhattisgarh News: The state government has taken a relief decision for the youth preparing for competitive examinations in Chhattisgarh. On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the dates of Subedar, Sub Inspector Cadre and Platoon Commander Main Examination-2024 have been changed. Now this examination will be held on 2, 3 and 4 November 2026. Earlier, possible dates of 24, 25 and 26 October were fixed for this.

There was a conflict with the teacher recruitment examination.

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission had released the result of preliminary written examination of Subedar, Sub Inspector Cadre and Platoon Commander Examination-2024 under Home (Police) Department on August 4, 2026. After this, the probable dates of the main examination were kept as 24, 25 and 26 October. Meanwhile, teacher recruitment examination was also scheduled for 25th October.

This had become a big problem for the candidates preparing for both the exams. Due to the exam being held on the same day, he was afraid of missing out on one of the exams. Information about this problem of the candidates reached Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, after which he instructed the officials for immediate solution.

Main examination will be held from 2nd to 4th November

Following the instructions of the Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has changed the pre-determined dates of the examination. Now Subedar, Sub Inspector Cadre and Platoon Commander Main Examination-2024 will be conducted on 2, 3 and 4 November 2026. This change will give an opportunity to those candidates who are preparing for both, to appear in both the examinations.

Chief Minister Sai said that the interest of the youth is paramount for the government. It is the priority of the government that no eligible youth should be deprived of any opportunity just because of conflict of examination dates. He said that youth work hard for years for competitive exams, hence they should not be forced to choose between two opportunities due to any administrative or exam scheduling problem.

Advice to candidates for online application

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has advised the candidates identified for the main examination to apply online separately. The Commission will issue detailed information in this regard separately. Candidates have been asked to keep visiting the website of the Commission regularly, so that important information to application and examination can be received on time.

The Chief Minister has wished all the candidates appearing in the upcoming recruitment examinations for their bright future and success. The government says that keeping in mind the aspirations of the youth, decisions to their future will be taken with sensitivity and promptness.
