The politics of Uttar Pradesh has heated up after Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) National Coordinator and party chief Mayawati's nephew Akash Anand called Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav 'uncle'. Congress has reacted sharply to Akash Anand's remarks. Congress spokesperson Anshu Awasthi hit back at Akash Anand and said that Rahul Gandhi is constantly raising his voice on issues to the Constitution, youth and students. He said that Akash Anand is a young leader and he should understand the Constitution before making any political comments.

Congress said- Rahul Gandhi is the voice of youth and students.

Anshu Awasthi said that Rahul Gandhi has been continuously raising the issues of protecting the Constitution and democratic rights. He claimed that the public has also supported his stance. He said that if Akash Anand had to raise questions then he should have asked questions to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Congress spokesperson alleged that questions have been raised on BJP regarding changes in the Constitution. Anshu Awasthi said that Rahul Gandhi has been continuously raising issues to paper leak, employment and students. According to him, Rahul Gandhi is becoming popular among the youth and students of the country and wherever his programs are held, a large number of youth come to listen to him.

'Akash Anand should first read the Constitution'

Congress spokesperson said that Akash Anand should read the Constitution of India. He claimed that Congress leaders have made many sacrifices to protect the Constitution and have also sacrificed power, but did not allow the Constitution to be affected. Anshu Awasthi said that if Akash Anand talks about the Constitution then he should also question BJP. He said that Rahul Gandhi is continuously raising questions on the issues of youth and students, due to which the government also seems to be surrounded on these issues.

Akash Anand had targeted in the public meeting of Hathras

Actually, a big public meeting of BSP was organized in Sadabad, Hathras on Monday. In this, Mayawati's nephew and BSP's National Coordinator Akash Anand addressed the people. During this, while targeting Congress and Samajwadi Party, he addressed Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav as 'Uncle'. After his statement, the rhetoric in the politics of Uttar Pradesh has intensified.

SP called Akash Anand 'immature'

Samajwadi Party has also reacted to Akash Anand's statement. Calling him immature, SP leader Fakhrul Hasan said that Akash Anand still needs to develop the basic understanding of politics. He said that earlier Mayawati had relieved Akash Anand from the party post for similar reasons. The SP leader raised the question whether Akash Anand can use similar words for the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister? After this statement, there are signs of further intensification of political rhetoric between BSP, Congress and SP in Uttar Pradesh.
