Team captain and experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that the team's only aim this season is to win the trophy. The fourth edition of UP T-20 League is going to start from August 14. The tournament matches will be played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.

While talking to the media at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Bhuvneshwar Kumar mentioned the performance of the last season. He admitted that Lucknow Falcons had performed well in the league stage, but the team missed the finals. Bhuvneshwar said that the team has learned from past mistakes and this time a better and balanced team has been prepared with necessary changes. His focus is on winning the title this season.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar described UP T-20 League as a great platform for young cricketers of the state. He says that sharing the dressing room with experienced and international level players gives young players an opportunity to learn the nuances of cricket. He said that the players who perform well in this league can open the way for them to reach the IPL and the Indian team. Bhuvneshwar also praised UPCA's decision to hold the matches in Lucknow and Kanpur.
