Based on the design patent images, VinFast Rasad comes across as a premium, performance-oriented electric maxi-scooter. It has a striking presence with features such as a large touring-style windscreen, polygonal headlamp housing and VinFast’s signature LED DRLs. VinFast Rasad is an entirely new scooter and not available in any global market. This could even be VinFast’s new flagship electric scooter or somewhere near in that league. Specifications of the scooter are yet to be revealed. However, some reports mention that VinFast Rasad will be getting a 7.1 kW centrally mounted electric motor. It will have a top speed of 100 km/h. In terms of its design and performance, VinFast Rasad could be comparable to products like Yamaha Aerox and .India launch plans
As per initial plans, VinFast was looking to introduce its electric two-wheelers in India in 2026. Three models from VinFast’s Vietnam portfolio were planned to be introduced in India. The recently patented is already available in Vietnam. However, the electric motorcycle and Rasad are new products, not available anywhere else.
