South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai first introduced BlueLink technology in India in 2019 with the 'Venue' car. The Venue was the first SUV in the country to get company-fitted connected technology. Currently, BlueLink offers more than 70 security and convenience features. These include remote vehicle monitoring, vehicle health diagnostics, location tracking, digital key, Hyundai Pay, digital passport and over 450 AI-powered voice commands in 5 languages.
This technology of Hyundai has been developed step by step. The i20 received OTA map updates in 2020, while the next-generation AVNT system was introduced in 2022 and the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit system in 2025, enabling remote software updates in vehicles.
The company has confirmed that Hyundai's mass-market electric SUV, which will be launched in the current financial year, will feature this next-generation connected technology as standard across all variants.
