The envelopes used for sending Rakhi are completely waterproof and are carefully guarded by the department’s team.

For your information, if you send a Rakhi in a small envelope, you will have to pay a fee of 10 rupees. For a larger envelope, the fee is 15 rupees. Additionally, a special box for sending sweets is available for just 30 rupees. Furthermore, on this special occasion of Sawan, devotees can also get Ganges water from Gangotri for just 30 rupees.
