When does the tour begin?
According to IRCTC, this Sri Lanka Ramayana Yatra package will commence from Bengaluru on September 24, 2026. It is a 5-night, 6-day package that includes amenities such as flights, hotel accommodation, meals, and sightseeing tours. The price of the package is determined based on the room category and the number of travelers.
What is the cost of the tour package?
For one person: ₹81,100
For two people: ₹60,500 per person
For three people: ₹59,950 per person
Children aged 5–11 years (with bed): ₹46,000
Children aged 2–11 years (without bed): ₹41,700
Seats for the tour are limited, and the package price includes 2% TCS.
Which places will pilgrims visit during the tour?
Day 1: After flying from Bengaluru to Colombo, travelers will be taken to Dambulla. Here, they will visit the Manavari and Munneswaram temples. Day 2: Visit to Dambulla Cave Temple, followed by tours of Thirukoneswaram Temple, Sigiriya, Trincomalee, and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Temple.
Day 3: Travel from Dambulla to Kandy, visit a gem factory, and see the Temple of the Tooth Relic. A cultural program will also be organized in the evening.
Day 4: Departure from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya; visits to Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple (Ramboda), Sita Amman Temple, and Ashok Vatika.
Day 5: Travel from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo; visits to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Colombo city, and Kelaniya Buddhist Temple. Additionally, a visit to Bali Anjaneyar Temple is possible.
Day 6: Shopping in Colombo followed by the return journey to Bengaluru.
