Dhanram Kumbhar of Nagaon, a village near Kolhapur, has been in the business of hand-made sieves for over 25 years. They had to walk from one village to another to sell these sieves. In the same way, Dhanram shouldered the responsibility of his family's sustenance. But today, the TVS XL100 has become a faithful travel companion for his son Navnath. Due to this, his family business has now crossed the village boundaries to reach customers from various parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Since his childhood, Navnath had seen his father leaving the house early in the morning with handmade sieves. They had to travel for hours on foot to reach the first customer. This increased travel time meant that fewer villages could be reached, limiting business expansion despite demand.
About 5 years ago, on the advice of a friend, Navnath and his father bought a TVS XL100. This car, which he initially bought as a practical investment, soon became a new direction for his family business. Today, 25-year-old Navnath travels nearly 100 kilometers every day carrying sieves hand-made by his father. In this he goes to Admapur, Mudal Tita, Nipani and various villages on the Karnataka border. After finishing his work hours in a nearby industrial estate, he leaves on a TVS XL100 to meet customers in various towns and villages.
The places I travel to today were difficult to reach earlier. But TVS XL100 gave me the confidence to explore new markets and grow our business, says Navnath. According to Navnath, the TVS XL100's mileage, low maintenance costs and reliable performance on hilly, muddy village roads, trails have made it an integral part of his daily routine. Its positive impact is not limited to business.

Due to increasing demand, the family has converted their old house into a workshop, while a new house is under construction in the same area. “It has helped us generate more income, grow our business and improve our standard of living. For me, TVS XL100 is literally like Lakshmi Devi,” says Navnath. For people like the Kumbar family, owning a vehicle is not just a means of travel, but a link to new opportunities. Helping to reach out to more customers while nurturing the decades-old art, TVS XL100 has become a trusted companion in their journey to a bright future.
