Assam : A grand organization day celebration was organized by Nikhil Assam Swarna Shilpi Samiti in Guwahati on Sunday, August 9 in the sacred courtyard of Hari Sabha located in Lakhtakia. In the ceremony, the resolution of unity of Swarna Shilpi Samaj, strength of the organization and all-round development of the society was reiterated. The program started with a dignified flag hoisting. After this, in the meeting organized, the senior members of the society and the speakers put forward important views regarding strengthening the organization, protecting the rights of the gold craft society, social and welfare schemes and future work direction.
Many dignitaries and enlightened persons of the society registered their presence in the function. These include Mr. Ranjit Adhikari, Mr. Prashant Kumar Rai, Mr. Nayan Dhar, Mr. Naresh Prasad, Mr. L. Gopal Soni, Shri Jiten Shah, Shri Haridev Nath, Shri Rabindranath Rai, Shri Parimal Sarkar, Shri Kaushik Karmakar and Shri Sajid Alam Choudhary were prominently present. A message of solidarity was given by keeping shops and establishments closed. Special enthusiasm was seen among the members of the society towards the Organization Day. A large number of gold traders and gold artisans participated in the ceremony by keeping their establishments and shops closed. This mass participation demonstrated the solidarity, trust and commitment of the society towards the organization.
On behalf of the committee, heartfelt gratitude was expressed to all the gold traders, gold artisans and distinguished guests present who helped in making the program successful. Publicity Secretary of the committee, Mr. Naresh Prasad, while thanking all the colleagues, said that there is strength in the organization and only through the unity of the society, a new direction can be given to the protection and progress of the rights of the gold craft community. He said that Organization Day is not just a celebration, but an opportunity for the society to come together and take a pledge to make organized efforts for its rights, respect and future.
