**ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: What are the educational qualifications?**
For all posts, candidates must possess an MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must be registered with a State Medical Register or the MCI/NMC. However, requirements regarding additional qualifications and experience vary by post.

**For Super Specialist Medical Officer**

Candidates must hold a PG degree or diploma in the relevant specialization. Additionally, a DM or MCh qualification and three years of experience in the relevant super-specialty are required.

**For Specialist Medical Officer**

A PG degree or diploma in the relevant specialization is required.
1.5 years of experience is required after a PG degree.
2.5 years of experience is required after a PG diploma.
