Etawah Anganwadi Recruitment: The Office of the District Programme Officer, Etawah, has released the advertisement for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers for 2026. A total of 102 vacant posts for Anganwadi Workers will be filled across Child Development Projects operating in the district's rural and urban areas. Selection for these posts will be conducted through direct recruitment. Interested female candidates can apply online from August 7, 2026, to August 30, 2026.

The number of vacancies mentioned in the advertisement is subject to increase or decrease. The selection committee reserves the right to recruit, not to recruit, or to cancel the recruitment process entirely.

Age Requirement
Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (Class 12) examination or an equivalent qualification. Marks for the selection merit list will be awarded based on educational qualifications ranging from Intermediate to Post-Graduation. The applicant's age must be between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026.

Residency Requirements
The applicant must be a permanent resident of the respective Gram Sabha or the specific ward within the urban area.
In rural areas, a woman residing in the concerned Gram Sabha will be considered eligible first.
If no eligible candidate is found within the Gram Sabha, the opportunity will be extended to a woman who is a permanent resident of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat.
For applicants in urban areas, the residence certificate must clearly state the ward number and the name of the ward.

Valid Certificates
Residence and caste certificates must be up-to-date and issued online by the Tehsil office with a digital signature. Online verification of these certificates must be possible. The income certificate must also be issued by a competent authority and be verifiable online.

Who gets priority in selection?
A female resident of the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward who belongs to a BPL (Below Poverty Line) family and falls into the category of widow, legally divorced woman, or abandoned woman.
If such a woman is not available, then another woman from a BPL family in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
Next, a woman from an APL (Above Poverty Line) family.
If no eligible woman is found in the concerned Gram Sabha, the selection will be made from among women in the Nyaya Panchayat based on the same order of priority.

Reservation Rules
For a post designated for a specific reserved category, only applications from candidates belonging to that category will be valid. However, women of any caste may apply for unreserved posts. Reservation rules issued by the government from time to time for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) will be followed.

Details such as name, address, educational qualifications, and other information must be entered correctly.
Self-attested, clear, and legible copies of the required documents must be uploaded to the portal.
