BGauss has launched its new scooter range in the Indian market. The brand's portfolio now includes the new 'Oowah' EV Pop range, which consists of three scooter models.
These three scooters together form a new lineup. According to the company, the range has been designed keeping Gen-Z in mind and targets first-time EV buyers. It strikes a balance between everyday needs and attractive design and is perfect for city commuting. Its key features include full LED lighting, USB charging, reverse assist and 'distance-to-empty' indicator. Let's take a closer look at the features of this electric scooter.
BGauss Oowah is available with two battery options. The base variant has a 2.3 kWh battery that gives a range of 105 km, while the top-end 'Max' and 'Max Plus' variants get a 3.0 kWh battery and a range of 145 km. Removable battery is provided in all variants.
This scooter is available in five color options and its top speed is 60 km/h. The Oowah range offers 21 liters of storage space under the seat. It also has a side-stand sensor that alerts the rider when the stand is down. The scooter can be charged from 0% to 80% in just 1 hour 55 minutes. It comes with a warranty of 36 months or 36,000 km, and the company is also offering extended warranty options – like Silver or Gold plans – for customers.
What is the price?
The price of BGauss Oowah EX starts at ₹94,990 (ex-showroom). The 'Max' variant of the scooter is priced at ₹1,22,990, while the top-end 'Max Plus' variant is also priced at ₹1,22,990; There is very little difference between the Max and Max Plus models. With the 'EV Pop' range, the company is targeting first-time electric scooter buyers.
