BJP MP and former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Posting on the social media platform 'X', he wrote, “Congress is continuously spreading lies regarding the interests of students. Rahul Gandhi does not have facts. The leader of the opposition, who habitually lies, neither wants to come to Parliament nor listen to the answers. All he wants to do is shed crocodile tears by spreading his lies.”

Dharmendra Pradhan further wrote in the 'X' post, “Making false allegations against Home Minister Amit Shah unnecessarily without any facts shows the political frustration of Rahul Gandhi and Congress.

The government is ready to discuss every issue in the Parliament, but the Congress is trying to crush the interests of the country and the youth by disrupting the temple of democracy 'Parliament House', because their intention is to give priority to their own interests and not to the interests of the country. When there is a discussion in the House, these people create ruckus outside, because the House does not have the capacity to listen to the answers.

Dharmendra Pradhan wrote in a social media post, “Congress's democracy is also 'selective', where there is its own government, there is violence on the youth and where there is politics to shine, there is lies and uproar. The entire country has seen the brutality that has happened to the students in Jharkhand. But, the question is, why is Rahul Gandhi, who holds press conferences on every issue, maintaining silence today?

The youth of the country have well understood this dual character of Congress. There is no place for dictatorship in democracy, this should be understood well by Rahul Gandhi and the emergency-oriented Congress party.”

Recently, while speaking at an event organized at Gangadhar Mehar University in Sambalpur on August 9, Dharmendra Pradhan had said, “I believe that some people tried to mislead our Gen-ji.” He had said, “For him as a minister, it was not a question of prestige. He said that about 20 crore Gen-Zs of the country are the force that will help in making India a 'Vishwaguru'.”
