New Delhi. Abu Dhabi has announced a free visa scheme in a great initiative to woo Indian tourists. Under this, eligible Indian travelers will not have to pay any fee for entry visa to United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism, this special offer will be available from August 1 to October 31.
How to get free visa?
This scheme can be availed by travelers holding Indian passports who book their entire journey through online travel agencies recognized by Abu Dhabi Tourism Department. The essential condition for this is that the tourist must spend at least three consecutive nights in a hotel in Abu Dhabi and their return air ticket must be booked from India only. The Abu Dhabi Tourism Department will bear the entire cost of the visa if all conditions are met. It is worth noting that usually the cost of a 30-day tourist visa for UAE is around Rs 6,500.
