Vietnam's famous e-V manufacturer VinFast is gearing up to expand its portfolio in India. The company has filed a patent for a new electric scooter design called 'Rasad' in India. According to the patent photos, it looks like a big, muscular and 'maxi-scooter' styled e-scooter, which will offer a sporty riding experience and excellent handling.

Premium and sporty design

Compared to VinFast's other small or simple e-scooters, the look of 'Rasad' is bigger and more premium.

  • Front Look: The front of the scooter features angular LED headlamps, VinFast's signature V-shaped DRLs and a tall windscreen for wind protection.
  • Comfortable seating: It has a wide step-like seat and split grab rails for the driver and rear passenger.

Although VinFast has not officially announced the launch date of this model, the Indian market could be one of the first few major markets for this model due to its patent registration in India.
