IND vs AFG T20 Schedule: The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has confirmed the dates for the three-match T20 International series against India in New Delhi. In a statement issued on Monday (August 10), the ACB said the matches will be played on September 13, 15 and 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The board also clarified that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also agreed to these dates.

According to a letter obtained by Cricbuzz, Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) CEO Naseem Khan has written to his business partners to inform that Afghanistan's tour of India 2026 will be held from September 13 to 17. He confirmed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also agreed on these dates and the venues of these matches have also been fixed. India and Afghanistan had previously played a single Test at Mullanpur in June, followed by a three-match ODI series.

India's tour of Bangladesh is likely to be cancelled

Due to this decision of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, now Team India's tour of Bangladesh has become almost impossible. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had originally planned to hold six matches between September 1 and 13, but one match in the Afghanistan series is falling during this period. With only three weeks left for the matches, the tour should be considered canceled unless the government takes any major decision.

Afghanistan Board's letter to BCCI

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) further said that although the official announcement of the series is yet to be made by the authorities, the board is sending this letter to provide definite information about the dates and stadiums of the “India Afghanistan Tour 2026”. As a result, companies holding television and media rights to the matches can now start planning their preparations, broadcast arrangements, publicity and other aspects with this schedule in mind.
