Technology Desk: Samsung is preparing to launch a new Fan Edition (FE) smartphone under its Galaxy S26 series. The company can introduce this phone as Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. Before the launch, information to the possible specifications, features and price of the phone has been revealed.

According to reports, Galaxy S26 FE can be launched as early as September 2026. However, the company has not yet given official information regarding the launch date and price of the phone.

The phone is expected to have features like large AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 processor, 50-megapixel main camera and 45W fast charging. At the same time, its potential price may be higher than the previous FE models.

6.7 inch AMOLED display

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is said to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It can support Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

According to reports, the normal brightness of the display could be around 1,200 nits, while in high brightness mode it could reach 1,900 nits. This can make it easier to view content on the screen even in bright light.

The phone can be equipped with Exynos 2500 processor

For performance, Samsung's Exynos 2500 processor can be given in Galaxy S26 FE. The phone is expected to have a maximum of 8GB RAM.

For storage, the phone can be offered in two options of 128GB and 256GB. With this, users will be able to choose the storage variant according to their needs.

50MP triple rear camera

Triple rear camera setup can be provided in the phone for photography. Its main camera can be of 50 megapixels, which is expected to have support of f/1.8 aperture and OIS i.e. Optical Image Stabilization. With this, an ultra-wide camera and 8MP telephoto camera can be provided in the phone. The telephoto camera can support 3x optical zoom. A 12MP front camera can be found in the phone for selfie and video calling. Talking about video recording, the rear camera can record 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at 60fps.

4,900mAh battery and 45W charging

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is expected to get a 4,900mAh battery. 45W wired fast charging can be supported in the phone. For connectivity, the phone can support Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and dual Nano-SIM. Apart from this, there is a possibility of support for one or two eSIM profiles.

The phone may come with IP68 rating

Talking about design, the thickness of Galaxy S26 FE can be around 7.4mm and weight can be around 193 grams. The phone can be launched with IP68 rating for dust and water protection. Talking about color options, it is expected to be offered in Graphite, Pistachio and Blueberry colors.

Expected to get Android 17

Talking about software, Galaxy S26 FE is expected to get Android 17. Along with this, Samsung's own user interface will also be provided. However, we will have to wait for official information from the company regarding software and update policy.

The price of Galaxy S26 FE may surprise users a bit this time. According to reports, the price of the phone in Europe may be 799 euros. In Indian currency this amount is approximately Rs 88 thousand.
