Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are bringing their on-screen chemistry back, joining forces for the upcoming comedy Udta Teer.
The comedy entertainer is being produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment and is reportedly scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 9, 2026.
Udta Teer reunites Ayushmann and Sara for their second film together, following their previous pairing in Husband and wife and what they do.
The film leans heavily into comedy, promising a chaotic storyline designed to deliver plenty of lighthearted laughs for family audiences.
Writer Akash A. Kaushik is stepping behind the camera for the first time with Udta Teerserving as both the film’s writer and director.
Backed by a star-studded production team comprising Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain, Udta Teer is keeping further plot and casting details under wraps for now.
If the current release plans hold, Udta Teer will reportedly release just a week after Drishyam 3, which is slated to hit theaters on October 2, 2026.
