Rajasthan is famous for its Rajputana culture as well as rich Sufi and Islamic architectural heritage. There are many historical mosques and dargahs in the state, which have religious, cultural and historical importance.

1. Ajmer Sharif Dargah – Ajmer

Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is the most famous Sufi religious place of Rajasthan. It is also known as Dargah Sharif or Ajmer Sharif. A large number of pilgrims from India and abroad reach here. The annual Urs held here is especially famous.

2. Two and a half day hut – Ajmer

Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra located in Ajmer is one of the famous historical Islamic architectural structures of Rajasthan. Beautiful arches, carved pillars and sculptures are visible in its complex. A mixture of Indian and Islamic styles can be seen in its architecture.

3. Dargah of Hamiduddin Nagauri – Nagaur

Hazrat Hameeduddin Nagauri is considered one of the prominent Sufi saints of the Chishti tradition. His Dargah located in Nagaur is an important center of religious faith. This Dargah has a special place in the Sufi heritage of Nagaur.

4. Meethe Shah's Dargah – Gagron

Meethe Shah's Dargah located at Gagron in Jhalawar district is one of the major Sufi shrines of the region. Gagron is also historically important as the famous Gagron Fort is located here.

5. Shakkar Baba Dargah – Narhar

Hazrat Shakkar Baba's Dargah situated in Narhar in Jhunjhunu district is counted among the famous religious places of Rajasthan. The fair held here and the participation of various communities also makes it important from the social and cultural point of view.
