Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has hit out at opposition parties including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He said the government is ready for discussion, but the opposition is running away. Home Minister Amit Shah is also ready to respond, though the opposition is still preventing Parliament from functioning. Today, it has become clear to the people of the country who is running away from the debate.
Kiren Rijiju said, “Yesterday we offered that the government is ready for a full discussion on the events surrounding the student protest. Our response was ready, and Home Minister Amit Shah was also fully ready, but he is not allowing the discussion. Even today, we were ready since morning. All NDA allies were also sitting with the expectation that there would be a discussion, and Home Minister Amit Shah was also fully ready. But the Congress did not allow the discussion.”
Rijiju alleged that the Congress party ran away from the debate and went outside to raise slogans. He also prevented the discussion from happening. “It is clear to the people of the country that we are ready for a debate, and the Congress is running away from it,” says Rijiju. “Rahul doesn’t want any debate. He just wants to spread chaos by lying.”
