Starting with Minnesota. At least 30 municipal water supply systems there have been cyber-attacked. According to FBI sources, the water supply systems of numerous municipalities in seven US states, including Minnesota, were later disrupted by hackers. As a result, millions of residents of those urban areas have been temporarily inconvenienced. The question is, is Iran behind the incident?

US media reports that Georgia, New Jersey and South Dakota have also been victims of similar cyber attacks. The FBI did not clarify whether these three provinces were among the seven affected provinces. According to sources, initially Donald Trump administration blamed Iran for this cyber attack. The hackers were claimed to be backed by Iran. However, the US government has not yet made an official statement.

According to US government data, there are 152,000 public drinking water systems and more than 16,000 wastewater treatment plants across the country. Most municipalities get their water supply from lakes, reservoirs, rivers or underground aquifers. After being purified, it is sent through pipelines to the homes of US citizens. This service has been disrupted due to cyber attacks.

It should be noted that in the second phase of the war, on the orders of the US President Donald Trump, the US army attacked the infrastructure of Iran such as power plants, bridges and railway stations. According to some analysts, it would not be surprising if Iran in turn launched a cyber attack on America's water supply.
