UP Petrol Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices remained stable across major cities in India on Wednesday, August 12, while global crude oil prices remained high amid uncertainty over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Brent crude reached close to the level of $90 per barrel and at the time of writing the news was trading at $89.47 per barrel, which is an increase of 0.57%. On Tuesday, Brent crude settled 1.36% higher at $88.91 per barrel while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures rose 1.3% to settle at $83.20 per barrel. Oil prices have risen more than 6% so far this week as expectations for an increase in shipping traffic through the crucial Strait of Hormuz have dimmed.
