The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the results for the Government Degree College Assistant Professor preliminary examination. Please note that the Commission has currently released results for seven subjects: Education, English, Home Science, Physics, Music (Sitar), Urdu, and Persian. The results have been published in PDF format (UPPSC GDC Assistant Professor Result PDF), which you can download directly from this page to check your status.

It is worth noting that the examination for 28 subjects under this recruitment drive was conducted on May 28, 2026. Results for the remaining subjects will be released soon.

The results have been released in the form of a merit list containing the roll numbers of successful candidates across all subjects. For your convenience, the steps to check the merit list and results are provided here, allowing you to easily verify your result.

To check the result, first visit the official website: uppsc.up.nic.in.
On the website's homepage, navigate to the "What's New" section and click on the link: "LIST OF CANDIDATES PROVISIONALLY QUALIFIED FOR MAINS IN ADVT. NO. A-7/E-1/2025, ASST. PROF., GOVT. DEGREE COLLEGE EXAM-2025, EDUCATION, ENGLISH, HOME SCIENCE, PHYSICS, MUSIC VADAN SITAR, URDU, PERSIAN."
The merit list will then open on your screen.
You can now check your roll number in the merit list according to your subject.

Number of candidates qualified for the Main Examination
UPPSC has also shared information via a notification regarding the number of candidates who have qualified for the Main Examination across these seven subjects. According to the notification, based on the preliminary examination, the Commission has declared candidates successful for the main examination as follows: 323 candidates against 14 vacancies in Education; 1,173 candidates against 92 vacancies in English; 640 candidates against 28 vacancies in Home Science; 580 candidates against 60 vacancies in Physics; 23 candidates against 4 vacancies in Sitar (Instrumental Music); 32 candidates against 3 vacancies in Urdu; and 15 candidates against 1 vacancy in Persian.
