Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition in India. The limited-edition styling package is available on the Midnight Black G and V grades with Neo Drive and strong hybrid powertrains. Priced at Rs 31,999, the Aero Black Edition package adds black-themed exterior elements, including a front grille upper garnish, front spoiler, headlamp garnish, tailgate garnish and rear spoiler. The SUV also gets an exclusive ‘Aero Black’ limited-edition badge. The styling package is available for a limited period, subject to stocks. Customers can also opt for Toyota’s dealer-level ‘All Black Package’ at an additional cost. Commenting on the launch, Sabari Manohar, executive vice president, Sales–Service–Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “With the launch of the Aero Black Edition, we are excited to introduce a more expressive and youthful design identity that resonates with evolving customer aspirations.” The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is offered with two powertrain options: a self-charging strong hybrid electric system and the Neo Drive. The strong hybrid version uses an e-drive transmission and is claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 27.97kpl. The Neo Drive range uses a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options, along with 2WD and 4WD configurations. The Hyryder is also equipped with features such as twin LED DRLs, a Crystal Acrylic Grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and a 360-degree camera. Since its launch in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has crossed the 2 lakh-unit sales milestone in India, according to TKM.
