Digital Desk, Lucknow Read: The friendship that started on Instagram turned into a love affair of about a year. When the family decided to marry the girl somewhere else, she left home with her lover. Both of them reached Purnia and claimed to get married in the railway station premises. But the happiness of this new relationship could last only for a few hours. A 19-year-old girl died in hospital after her health suddenly deteriorated while going to the temple. The police have taken her lover into custody and started questioning.
The deceased has been identified as Manisha Kumari (19), resident of Batarbari of Nagar police station area of Araria district. She was a student of BA Part-1. According to the police, she was in a relationship with Dilkhush Kumar (20), a resident of Palasi, Araria, for about a year. Dilkhush is an intermediate student. Both of them met through Instagram and during the conversation both came closer.
Family fixed marriage at another place so left home
It was told that Manisha's family had fixed her marriage somewhere else. She was not ready for this relationship. After this she decided to leave the house with Dilkhush and start a new life. According to the police, on August 10, at around 11.30 am, Dilkhush took Manisha from Araria. Both of them reached Purnia Junction at around 2 pm. Both of them claimed to get married in the station premises. It was told that no wedding ceremony took place there. Dilkhush filled Manisha with vermilion and declared her his wife. Later she also posted the wedding photo on Instagram.
I fell ill while going to the temple
A few hours after the marriage, both of them were going towards City Kali Temple of Purnia. Meanwhile, Manisha complained of severe dizziness near Rambagh. Within no time his condition deteriorated. With the help of local people, Dilkhush made him sit on the roadside and took him to GMCH, Purnia for treatment. Manisha died during treatment in the hospital.
Family got information about marriage through Instagram post
According to Manisha's brother, the family members were searching for her after she left the house. Meanwhile, information was received about Dilkhush posting a wedding photo on Instagram. The family members also reached Dilkhush's house, but were turned back from there. Later, Dilkhush's friends informed the family about Manisha's death.
Post mortem report will reveal the cause of death
On receiving information about the incident, Kehat police station reached the hospital, took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police have detained Dilkhush and information about the entire incident is being gathered. According to Kehat police station incharge Jaiprakash Singh, the police is investigating the entire sequence from the two leaving Araria, reaching Purnia Junction, getting married there and Manisha's health deteriorating while going to the temple. The real reason for Manisha's death will become clear only after the post mortem report comes. At present the police is investigating keeping all possible aspects in mind.
