Honda had announced the Honda Rebel 300 as one of the 10 new products to be launched in India at its mega event in July 2026. It will directly compete with the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 in the current market. Compared to the classic look of Royal Enfield, Honda has used modern design and latest technology for its bobber bike.

Engine and Output: Modern vs. Neo-Retro
The main difference between these two bikes is seen in their engine and performance,
- Engine: The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is powered by the famous 349 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine. While the Honda Rebel 300 uses a 286 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine (which was earlier seen in the CB300R).
- Power and Torque: The Honda bike generates 30 hp power, while the Royal Enfield produces 19.9 hp power. Torque is almost the same between the two bikes — 27.5 Nm in the Honda and 27 Nm in the Royal Enfield.

- Instrument cluster: Both the bikes have the essential features as per the retro design. Royal Enfield comes with 'Tripper Navigation Pod' as standard. So the Honda Rebel 300 in India is likely to get a full TFT display instead of a negative LCD.
- E-Clutch Technology: Honda's e-clutch feature makes riding the bike in city traffic much easier, which is not available in the Royal Enfield.
