Riya Chakraborty's jail experience

Rhea Chakraborty spent time as an undertrial prisoner in Mumbai's Byculla jail for almost a month. Following his arrest by the NCB in September 2020, he got bail from the Bombay High Court in October. Riya said that her experience in jail was a little different from people's perception. In the show 'Tanmay Reacts' he said that the people inside the jail are better than the people outside.

According to her, most of the women in the undertrial jail believed themselves to be innocent and everyone there was equal. There was no name, but a number. Riya also told that in jail, women used to spend their time in singing, dancing and cooking. She jokingly said that if she ever writes a book on her jail experience, its title could be 'The Witch's Revenge'.

Riya said that the real strange experience happened after coming out of jail. When she went among the people of the industry, the behavior of many people suddenly changed. In a room where people were laughing and talking, his presence made the atmosphere tense. Riya told that people would suddenly say, 'Oh, hi Riya… how are you?' As if he had no connection with the fun happening there till a few moments ago. After getting a clean chit from the CBI, Rhea also got her passport back and did not face any hurdles at immigration while traveling abroad.
