Mohanlalganj, Lucknow. Police have registered a case in the case of theft of about three lakh rupees and pan masala by breaking the shutter of a shop in Fattekheda village of Mohanlalganj police station area. The victim shopkeeper alleges that since the incident, he had been circling the Kankaha outpost demanding action, but he was continuously rebuffed. After the news of the theft went viral on social media, the police swung into action and a case was registered against unknown thieves.

According to Ram Pratap, son of Ram Kishun, resident of Fattekheda, unknown thieves broke the lock of the shutter of his shop late last Saturday night. The thieves stole a sack of pan masala kept inside the shop, one thousand rupees kept in a sack and about three lakh rupees kept in an earthen piggy bank. On getting information about the incident, the victim informed the police and reached Kankaha post and requested for action.

The victim alleges that the police did not take immediate action. After this he complained to the authorities. Meanwhile, the news to the theft incident went viral on social media. After the news went viral, there was a stir in the police department and Mohanlalganj police immediately registered a case against unknown thieves under relevant sections of BNS and started investigation.

Electronic service shop also became target

It is being told that on the same night, Mohd. located at Gaura Tiraha of Mohanlalganj. Danish's electronic service shop was also targeted by thieves. It has come to light that tool kit bag and copper pipe were stolen from here. Police are investigating both the incidents and are busy scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby.
