Tezzbuzz Desk- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday read the autobiography of former President Ram Nath Kovind. 'Triumph of the Indian Republic: My Life, My Struggles' Released. On this occasion, PM Modi praised Kovind's life of struggle, his devotion to duty and contribution to public life. He said that Kovind's autobiography will prove to be an important heritage for Indian democracy and society.

After the release of the book, PM Modi said that the life journey of Ramnath Kovind and his contribution to the society and the nation is very extensive. He said that in this program he can talk in detail about Kovind's life, but on the occasion of book release it is appropriate to give only a glimpse of it. The PM appealed to the youth to read Kovind's writings and his experiences.

'The country needs many youth like Kovind'

PM Modi said that India needs such youth who do not give up in the face of difficult circumstances. He said that in the future the country needs many youth like Ramnath Kovind, who instead of getting discouraged by problems, move forward with hard work and determination.

He said that great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule had dreamed of an India where the poor and deprived sections of society also get the opportunity to move forward. People like Kovind contributed in taking this thinking forward through their hard work and ability.

Praise for Kovind's devotion to duty

The Prime Minister also appreciated the activism of the former President. He said that even after retiring from the highest constitutional post, Ramnath Kovind did not choose the path of rest. He is working on an important topic like 'One Country, One Election'.

PM Modi said that the country should learn from Kovind's devotion to duty and spirit of service. According to him, such efforts to strengthen democracy are important for India's development and future.

painful incident of losing mother

Referring to the childhood struggles of Ramnath Kovind, PM Modi also shared a very emotional incident from his life. He told that Kovind was born in an ordinary family of Kanpur Dehat. His house caught fire during his childhood. His mother came under fire while trying to save household items and died.

The PM said that losing a mother at a young age can be a very difficult experience for any person. Despite this, instead of being broken by that tragedy, Kovind strengthened himself and kept moving forward. He said that the difficult circumstances of life played a role in further strengthening his personality.

'Autobiography will become a heritage for democracy'

PM Modi said that he has known Ramnath Kovind for a long time and also got the opportunity to know him closely. Kovind's guidance and affection as President hold special significance for him.

He expressed confidence that Kovind's autobiography will be useful for Indian democracy and society for a long time. The PM said that through this book the new generation will get an opportunity to understand his life, struggles and experiences of public service.
