Vietnam gasoline prices on Thursday fell slightly compared to seven days ago.
The popular gasoline E10 RON95 dropped 0.94% to VND22,110 (US$0.85) per liter. E5 RON92 fell 2.26% to VND21,230. Diesel decreased by 1.13% to VND27,230.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance said the global petroleum market in recent days has been influenced by developments to negotiations over reopening the Strait of Hormuz, as well as lower forecasts from OPEC and the International Energy Agency for oil demand growth this year.
RON95 gasoline fell nearly 2% to $111.7 per barrel, while diesel declined 1.1% to $151 per barrel.

Gasoline prices in Cambodia and Thailand are around VND26,800-VND28,400 per liter, while prices in China exceed VND32,000 per liter and reach more than VND44,000 per liter in Laos.
