Currently Udyan Express or other regular trains running between Pune and Bengaluru usually take 15 to 24 hours to complete the journey. However, Vande Bharat sleeper will save about 5 to 6 hours of this journey after starting. This will be the main route of travel
This train service will be operated under South-Western Railway and its final route has been decided. The train will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and reach Bangalore via Pune, Solapur, Wadi and Kalburgi.
