Sukhbir Singh Badal, Former Punjab Dy CM attacked in Maharashtra’s Nanded; Hospitalized

New Delhi: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief and former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was allegedly attacked during his visit to a gurdwara in Maharashtra's Nanded on Thursday. Following the incident, Badal was immediately taken to a private hospital for medical attention.
According to preliminary information, the attack took place while Badal was at the religious site. A security personnel deployed with his protection team was also reportedly injured during the incident.
Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances behind the attack and identify those involved. Further details regarding the nature of the assault and the condition of the injured are awaited.
