By taking the 434th wicket, Starc equaled the number of Test wickets of India’s great all-rounder Kapil Dev. Kapil Dev had taken 434 wickets in 131 Tests, while Starc has achieved this figure in 106 Tests. Now the next big goal for Starc is to be included in the all-time top-10 wicket-taking bowlers of Test cricket. South African legend Dale Steyn is at number 10 in this list, who has 439 wickets in his name. That means Starc now needs only 6 more wickets to make it to the top-10.
