Thursday’s transfer rumours feature Eduardo Camavinga, Folarin Balogun and Martin Zubimendi.
Manchester United are preparing for possible interest in Bruno Fernandes before the transfer deadline. According to the BBC, Juventus, AC Milan and Galatasaray are all keen on the midfielder, whose current contract runs until 2027. United, though, have no plans to sell and are instead working on a new deal for their club captain.
Manchester United also look set for frustration in their attempt to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The Red Devils have shown interest in the France international, with his ability to play both in central midfield and at left-back increasing his value. However, The Athletic reports that Camavinga’s firm preference is to remain in Spain.
Arsenal are said to be willing to consider offers for Martin Zubimendi after completing the signing of Bruno Guimaraes. TEAMtalk reports that Zubimendi has attracted interest from Chelsea and Real Madrid, with any club needing to pay €90m (£77m) to land him. Chelsea coach Xabi Alonso previously worked with Zubimendi at Real Sociedad and would be open to linking up with him again.
Folarin Balogun is expected to leave AS Monaco this summer after an impressive World Cup campaign with co-hosts the United States. However, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur have not made a move for the former Arsenal striker. Galatasaray and clubs from Saudi Arabia are currently leading the race for his signature.
Tottenham, though, are looking at Villarreal forward Georges Mikautadze. The Georgia international scored 13 league goals in his first season with the Yellow Submarine, and Transfer Feed says his representatives have also been contacted by Barcelona.
Former Spurs loanee Joao Palhinha could be on course for a return to the Premier League. The midfielder has agreed personal terms over a move from Bayern Munich to Aston Villa, although the two clubs still need to settle on a transfer fee.
Villa want to strengthen their weakened midfield with the addition of Palhinha, while the club are also in discussions with West Ham over a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Hammers are asking for £25m for the right-back.
