Hyundai Xtreme Knight: The Hyundai Exter has already carved a niche for itself among compact SUV buyers in India, but the company has now introduced it in an even more striking avatar. The Hyundai Exter Knight has been launched with a new black theme and sporty styling, priced from ₹8.13 lakh. It features dark styling, a black interior, and unique design elements. Notably, the company has not limited this special edition to petrol engines alone but has also offered a CNG option. Let's take a closer look at the details.

Hyundai Exter Knight: Price and Variants

Hyundai has focused heavily on the styling of the Exter Knight to distinguish it from the standard model. Prices range from ₹8.13 lakh to ₹9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition is available in four variants, giving customers the flexibility to choose based on their needs and budget.

There is another significant reason for the launch of this edition: Hyundai's 'Knight' range has surpassed the 100,000-unit sales milestone. To celebrate this achievement, the Exter has been inducted into the Knight family. This range was introduced in 2022, and the Exter is the latest addition to the lineup.

Black Styling

The most striking feature of the Exter Knight is its black theme. Hyundai has incorporated several dark elements to give the SUV a sportier and bolder exterior appearance. It features matte black Hyundai and Exter badges, while dark gray garnish on the front and rear bumpers sets it apart from the standard Exter.

The side profile also sports dark gray side sill garnish. Additionally, exclusive Knight badging and 15-inch black alloy wheels further enhance its sporty character. At the front, red-painted brake callipers create a striking contrast against the black wheels. Meanwhile, the lower variants come equipped with dark gray styled steel wheels.

Petrol and CNG

There have been no major mechanical changes to the Hyundai Exter Knight; it retains the company's existing 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual gearbox and a Smart Auto AMT with this engine.

For those seeking lower running costs, Hyundai also offers the Hy-CNG Duo option. This features a 1.2-litre Hy-CNG Duo powertrain paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Thus, the Exter Knight is designed to appeal not only to customers drawn to its aesthetics but also to those with high daily driving requirements.
