Due to this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that on Friday (August 14, 2026), there may be stormy rain in 15 states including the national capital Delhi-NCR and adjoining Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. During this period, i.e. during the rains, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 70 kilometers. A warning has also been issued regarding landslides in the hilly areas of North-Eastern states like Himachal and Uttarakhand.
