Maddock Films is reportedly reworking its 2026 slate. Eetha was the first film to undergo a change, with the Shraddha Kapoor-starrer moving from August 28 to December 4, 2026. Now, another film from the banner, Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story, has also been postponed. Prahaar was earlier scheduled to release on August 7, but the Rajkummar Rao-starrer has now been pushed to October 16, 2026. The film is based on the life and career of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack trial forming a key part of the story. Directed by Avinash Arun, Prahaar stars Rajkummar Rao as Ujjwal Nikam, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher in key roles.
