On the occasion of Independence Day, a grand Tricolor Yatra was organized today in Ambedkarnagar district with the aim of spreading the feeling of patriotism, national unity and integrity to the people and further strengthening the feeling of respect and pride for the national flag. A large number of citizens, public representatives, officers-employees, youth and common people enthusiastically participated in this yatra filled with patriotism and enthusiasm.

The Tricolor Yatra was inaugurated by District Panchayat Administrator Shyam Sundar Verma, District President BJP Dilip Dev Patel and other public representatives along with District Magistrate Isha Priya, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Jyotsna Bandhu, Additional District Magistrate Judicial Ranjit Singh, Joint Magistrate/Sub District Magistrate Akbarpur Pratiksha Singh, Trainee IAS Thanigiyarsan T, District Development Officer, District School Inspector, District Basic Education Officer, District Economics and Officials from various departments including Number Officer, Additional District Information Officer were present. The trip was led by skating children.

Holding the Tricolor in hands, the grand Tricolor Yatra started from the Collectorate complex and reached Shiv Baba Dham with patriotic slogans and slogans. During the journey, the entire route was filled with an atmosphere of patriotism, unity and enthusiasm. The Tricolor Yatra gave the message to the citizens of national unity, integrity, sovereignty and discharge of their responsibilities towards the country.

The Tiranga Yatra concluded at Shiv Baba Dham with the collective singing of 'Vande Mataram' in a grand Tricolor Concert. The crowd present on this occasion, imbued with the feeling of patriotism, sang Vande Mataram in one voice, due to which the entire atmosphere resonated with the spirit of patriotism. Concluded with 1000 meter long Tiranga Yatra at Shiv Baba.

In the grand Tricolor concert program organized at Shiv Baba Dham, the attractive exhibitions put up by the children of various schools on the theme of Har Ghar Tricolor Campaign were observed by Vice Chairman State Women Commission Aparna Yadav, Member Legislative Council Hariom Pandey, MLA Katehari Dharmaraj Nishad and District Magistrate along with other public representatives and officials and the enthusiasm of the children was boosted.

On this occasion, various cultural programs based on the spirit of country and patriotism were presented by children from different schools. On this occasion, while addressing the children and the general public, the honorable public representatives highlighted issues to patriotism including national unity and integrity.

In the programme, dependents of freedom fighters/brave women were honored by the public representatives by wearing body clothes.

On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that the tricolor is not only the flag of the nation but also a symbol of the country's unity, integrity, pride and the feelings of crores of countrymen. The objective of the Tiranga Yatra is to make every citizen aware of his duties towards the nation and to convey the spirit of sacrifice, sacrifice and patriotism of the brave fighters of the freedom struggle to the new generation. He said that while spreading the message of “Tricolor in every house – Tricolor in every heart” to every person, we should take a pledge to keep the national interest paramount.

As per the intention of the government, through the Tricolor Yatra, a message was given to strengthen the sense of patriotism, national unity, social harmony and responsibility towards the country among the people of the district. The program also strengthened the feeling that every citizen should play an active role in nation building with respect for the national flag. Fulfill and continuously carry forward the nectar of freedom.

With the message of “Pride of Tricolor – Identity of the country, Every house is Tricolor – Every heart is Tricolor”, Ambedkar Nagar today gave an impressive message of unity, integrity and patriotism.
