While sharing a video on her Instagram handle, Rishika talked about Yash’s nude scene in the trailer of the film ‘Toxic’ and questioned the actor’s decision to work in such a scene. He said that while beauty is the real glory of a woman, respect is the real glory of a man. Why did you need to take your pants off like that, you monkey? Your wife is waiting at home, so what is the need to molest actresses?

In a video, she said that she expects Yash to show respect towards women, especially because he is a husband and father. Directly targeting the actor, he said that people will not accept content that insults women and they will force him to leave Karnataka.

Rishika said, ‘I want Kannada cinema to develop and reach the international audience. I am happy that a big film like Toxic is being made in Kannada and a Bollywood actress is also involved in it. But I did not like the portrayal of women in the trailer. There are five female actors in the film. Are any of them portrayed beautifully or in a positive way? Why was Kiara Advani brought from Bollywood and shown like this? If women are not respected, we will make you vacate Karnataka. I am very angry.

Urging the fans, he said that they should consider how they would react if similar comments were made about their wives working in any other film industry. Rishika clarified that her criticism was targeting the characters shown in the film rather than director Geetu Mohandas and his creativity.

Apart from Yash and Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi also play important roles in the film Toxic. After many postponements, this film is finally going to be released in theaters on 26th August.
