Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and as per the instructions of Minister in-charge of Sukma district, Kedar Kashyap, Ayushman Maha Abhiyan will be run on Thursday.
Under this campaign organized to commemorate the Bastar Tiranga Yatra, teams of the Health Department and District Administration will reach every village and door to door and make Ayushman cards for the eligible beneficiaries.
The preparations for the campaign were reviewed late on Wednesday evening under the chairmanship of Collector Amit Kumar. The administration has set a target of making more than 10 thousand Ayushman cards under this special campaign, so that more and more eligible families can get the benefit of health protection.
Through the campaign, eligible families will get the facility of cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per year under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. At the same time, the benefits of Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana will also be made available to senior citizens aged 70 years and above.
To get Ayushman card made, beneficiaries will have to bring Aadhar card, ration card, mobile number linked to Aadhar and necessary identity documents. The cards will be made free of cost during the campaign.
