New Delhi. The audience's wait for Kannada superstar Yash's much awaited film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups' has now reached its final stage. This action thriller film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, has received A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification i.e. CBFC. Along with this, official information about the runtime of the film has also been revealed. According to reports, the film is about 194 minutes i.e. 3 hours 14 minutes long. The film has been certified by the Bengaluru regional office of CBFC on 13 August.

'A' certificate means that only adult audiences will be able to watch the film in theatres. The duration of more than three hours has also increased the curiosity about the film. However, it would not be right to draw definite conclusions about the content of the film based only on its long runtime or A certificate. It is certain that from the very beginning, the makers of the film have presented it as a dark action drama designed for adult audiences and different from the usual masala films.

The story of the film is set in the backdrop of post-independence Goa. The story shows an era where the deep impact of violence, power, greed, hatred and crime is visible.
