BJP MLA's daughter accused of slapping female PSI, dispute over stopping her from entering the sanctum sanctorum

Tezzbuzz Desk- A dispute has come to light between the daughter of a BJP MLA and a female police officer during the security arrangements of the temple in Mandya district of Karnataka. It is alleged that MLA B. was stopped from entering the sanctum sanctorum. Suresh Gowda's daughter Aishwarya slapped the lady sub-inspector (PSI) Savita on duty. The incident is said to have taken place on August 12.

In fact, on the occasion of Hariyali Amavasya, a large number of devotees had reached the famous Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswami temple located at Ukkada in Srirangapatna taluk. In view of the crowd in the temple, security arrangements were tightened. Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Tumkur Rural Assembly constituency B. Suresh Gowda's daughter Aishwarya also reached the temple.

Controversy regarding entry into the sanctum sanctorum

According to the information, Aishwarya reportedly entered the temple through the VIP line. After this he tried to go inside the sanctum sanctorum. At that time, lady PSI Savitha of Kyathanahalli police station, who was on security duty, stopped them. Savita told that there is a huge crowd of devotees in the temple, hence they cannot be allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya's eyes fell on Circle Inspector (CI) Lakshmi, who was on duty, who was going inside the sanctum sanctorum. On this, Aishwarya questioned PSI Savita that when she was being stopped from going inside, then how was the CI allowed to enter.

PSI Savita reportedly replied that Lakshmi was her circle inspector and had gone inside the sanctum sanctorum on duty. After this an argument started between the two.

Accused of slapping after argument

The matter gradually escalated. It is alleged that Aishwarya was adamant on going to the sanctum sanctorum and had a heated argument with PSI Savita. Meanwhile, the dispute turned violent and Aishwarya allegedly slapped the female police officer on duty.

After the incident, the police took the matter seriously. A case has been registered against Aishwarya at Kyathanahalli police station under sections to obstructing a government official and assault. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

At present, the police is recording the statements of people to the incident and the circumstances of the entire dispute are being investigated. After the incident, questions are also being raised regarding the security arrangements and VIP entry of the temple.
