One-Off Unveiled: Ferrari has unveiled the CZ26, a one-off supercar, in Monterey, USA, on 13 August 2026. The car comes from Ferrari's Special Projects programme, built through collaboration between a US client and the Ferrari Design Studio. Flavio Manzoni led the design. The CZ26 reinterprets the high-performance berlinetta using a technical design language based on the SF90 Stradale.
Client's Vision: The CZ26 reflects a personal take on the supersport berlinetta, built around a technological, forward-looking design. It uses the SF90 Stradale's dynamic features and performance, keeping its technical specifications. Ferrari wanted a car with an instantly recognisable character, showing strength, precision and formal purity, achieved through a controlled and rigorous design process.
Two-Year Build: Ferrari's Special Projects programme builds unique "One-Off" cars for clients, who become sole owners of that design. Each project starts with a client idea, developed alongside designers from Ferrari's Styling Centre. Once the proportions are set, blueprints and a styling buck come before manufacturing. The process takes around two years, with the client involved at every stage.
Capsule Shape: The CZ26 has a horizontal design with a two-box silhouette. A capsule-shaped central body gives it a stable, low stance, supported by four muscular sections at the wheel arches. The body looks like it flows from the front as one shape, ending in a sculpted, truncated rear that matches the front's geometry.
Bold New Face: A full-width grille dominates the front, holding slim, concealed lighting units, brake air intakes, sensors and other technical parts. A near-vertical leading edge gives the nose a strong presence. At the rear, a truncated tail and raised taillights create a light look, while a horizontal diffuser design makes the car appear wider.
Retro Meets Now: Ferrari calls the bodywork clean and functional, with side air intakes, the front end, rear diffuser, taillights and carbon-fibre parts forming one design language. The look takes cues from 1970s Italian industrial design, updated for today. Black trim on the roof and pillars blends the cabin into the body, giving a cockpit-like effect.
Silver Statement: The CZ26's colours and finishes aim for a technical, sporty look. The body uses Argento Veloce, a silver paint with a liquid-like finish, set off by Rosso Lampante red accents and coloured carbon fibre. The wheels, made for the CZ26, combine gloss black paint with a bead-blasted surface. Titanium exhaust tips complete the look.
3D-Printed Seats: Inside, the same design theme continues. A black technical fabric covers the cabin, with seat inserts made using 3D printing and designed for the CZ26. Rosso Lampante details match the exterior, alongside an embroidered CZ26 logo. Matte fabric contrasts with satin carbon fibre and a gloss carbon fibre containing metallic filaments, plus body-coloured trim on the doors and dashboard.
Aero Overhaul: Ferrari redesigned the CZ26's aerodynamics throughout. At the front, engineers repositioned the radiator and added bypass ducts to improve cooling and downforce, along with a new underbody and vortex generator system. Air curtains in the front bumper cut drag, while the rear gets a new spoiler, diffuser and vented engine cover for cooling.
Hybrid Muscle: The CZ26 keeps the SF90 Stradale's plug-in hybrid powertrain: a twin-turbo 3990cc V8 making 797cv, plus electric motors delivering 162kW from a 7.9kWh battery, giving 25km of electric range. Power goes through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Ferrari lists a 328km/h top speed and 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds. The SF90 was Ferrari's first series-production plug-in hybrid.
