Zuspresso, which owns the brand, is working with financial advisers on the potential offering, which could happen as soon as mid-2027 and value the business at RM4 billion, Bloomberg reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. The timing and size remain subject to change as discussions are ongoing.
Started as a kiosk in 2019, ZUS Coffee grew rapidly to become the biggest chain by store count in Malaysia by 2024, when it surpassed Starbucks.

ZUS targeted the mid-priced segment, which was relatively underserved when it launched. It also stands out for its tech-driven business model featuring an app that allows customers to place orders in advance and pick them up at stores while giving the company insights into their preferences, supporting data-led product development.
The chain operates more than 1,000 stores worldwide, the vast majority in Malaysia, and has ventured into markets such as Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
ZUS said earlier this year that it aims to grow its network to 1,300 outlets by the end of 2026, including 200 additional stores in Malaysia, according to Global Coffee Report.
